Abandoned by my Childhood Friend, I Became a War Hero

I give up expecting a sequel, let alone an ending, having been stopped for over a year. It started well, had its interesting peculiarities and was very well written and translated. MC who starts as an adult, in this case he starts acting as an instructor, are rare and I like his character, the interactions with other characters are quite interesting and often beautiful. Alas, the negative sides are as I said the lack of conclusion leaving a lot hanging, the last chapters do not even seem the same writing (or translation).

Fun read, good potential but a. sh*tty rushed ending. Reccomend it if you’re tryna kill time as modt of the chaps before the ending is quite alright.

Very good novel, with a protagonist bearing mental scars of abandonment, yet this scars who chain him in one way, are also his source of strength to move forward and to guide others to a greater heights. Sadly, author either lost motivation or inspiration and started to milk main plot for the last 40 chapters only to abandoned it in the end without any explanation. . . so, he showed middle finger to his reader. Its pity, because this novel is really good, compared to most Korean novels out there, after all its showing real growth of the heroes and their relationships, not only big stick, prejudices and pr*ck protagonist as other works do. In the end, solid 4 stars only, because this novel was abruptly discontinued (abandoned).

Its gooodd 😭😭😭 why korean reader bashing the author till he leave his work 😭😭😭 they are going too far. . . hope author can give us mass updates. . .

i quite like the personality of mc. a depressed grown up who used to be a soldier and now too tried of youthful antics around him . World building is so-so not miserable but could have been better. a read for free time and a never ending acedamy arc(⁠〒⁠﹏⁠〒⁠)

It's a great novel. But heard the author stoped writing it. So the ending was rushed and not great. Still good novel. Cool, op and Chad but sometimes clueless mc. Give it a try

I really like this novel . Especially the op MC . Like the Romance, funny moments. It's not the best novel but It was enjoyable for me and hope for it to be continued. . .

I liked it. I wouldn’t be surprised if they made a manhwa/manga/comic or animation out of this… sadly it’s either dropped or the ending was rushed according to the comments.

It's a pity that the author stopped writing. This novel Is great cause It depicts very well the MC psicology as well as the one of the few others characters that matters (about the plot holes that korean audience used to bully the author, i don't get It cause this is litterally a novel meant to follow the MC in his gradual re-discovering of his own past). In overall a good novel that started blooming After the 70th chapter and stopped rigth in the middle of It. (Maybe deserving of 4 stars but i gave 5 in order to try to help motivate the author )

Good novel, not too high, not too low. Good for people like me who have just started reading light novels. It has a good story and a cool MC, I quite like how the story progresses. But one thing: As other readers are saying, I think this is dropped by the author so it will leave you hanging. Quite sad when you read 124 chapters and the author leaves you in between an arc.
