I’m going to be honest here, this is a typical abused simp guy who was actually a greater guy than given credit but due to shitone b*tch his childhood “friend” and the roomers and misunderstandings that she created to isolate him especially from females (making her the only female he could associate with) then abandoned him for a violent male hater(that runs around saving women) …….. his insecurities are deeply ingrained because of her but he’s unable to recognize that she was abusing him because he doesn’t know of anything better… the love interest that became interested in him are also toxic in multiple ways. I read to see if he would find someone decent to be with and overcome his trauma and eventually wound up just reading in hopes of the violent male hating hero and his harem of self centered b*tch*s to get proper punishment for their actions.

Yes, I agree it is deep ingrained. And I only read this in the past for the moment when he got over the hump. But at this point it’s just like some kind of running joke that never ends. Even if the novel had double the ch’s I feel like the author would still keep finding ways to keep the same status quo going. It’s disappointing. You can’t even call if ‘1 step forward, 2 back’. It’s too inconsistent. Because sometimes it’ll be 5 steps forward 1 back, then in the next instance it’s 1 step and back 20. And all those steps forward are almost always distorted in some way. It’s a bit sad tbh.

Is it like the dense mc and clinched story?? Most hero novels have them. And they are too disgusting and disappointing to read. Ah, when I say dense, it's like where you wish you could just go over there and ntr the mc... Please, a word from who read the stories upto latest chapter would be very helpful as I am searching for something to read...

I am a simple man. I see dense protagonist, I do not read. Why the hell would you even tag a book as romance if it never actually happens? (Please do correct me if I'm wrong on that, but I've read enough JP novels to know that tag combination is almost always an exercise in frustration)

He has romantic relationships but there is no exploration of romance

Forgive me I don't know if this is the correct place to write this or in general to even mention this. But I believe this version of the WN has been stopped and the one actually getting updated is one called RE: Ankoku Kishi Monogatari. So my question is: is it possible if it's not a burden to you instead of updating this one since it's stopped picking up the RE version of it and updating that that is still continuing???

Alright. Honest opinion. Its actually pretty good. The writing is solid, and the plot is pretty good as well. I dont necessarily like everything about the MC, but the MC stays consistent and is well portrayed. I enjoy the use of a foil character, though he could be given a bit more character. It feels as if his only purpose is to be the foil and the bad guy (the foil I mean). All in all, I recommend a read as this is one of the better Isekai novels I've read for sure. It aint perfect, but I am still coming back for more.

So does anyone else really hate shirone? I mean so treats him like crap abandons him, then feels bad for herself because she realized that she's a horrible person, but still, even though she hasn't talked to him in years, acts like she's the one who knows everything about him and worst of all still wants to treat him as a servent!! I'm sorry guys but the more I reed the more I hate her with a passion
