Too much tension Everyone's just out to get him from the get go
I'm on chapter 548 and every character except for MC,yao lao and his waifus is literally and mentally retarded. The plot is repetitive and I can literally say that every time the author will pull something out of his *ss to make the MC win. I am hoping it gets better but I don't have high enough hopes for that. I don't know how I made it through this much but I can tell all new readers(who have the need to finish a novel to move to next) to just watch the donghua version of this. I have watched some clips and can say for sure that the donghua is much better than reading this mind numbing novel.
This proves that bad/boring novel might not necceserily make a bad anime adaption recomment just watching the donghua and not waste your time with this novel.
For those who want to know about this novel, Donghua has a Chinese anime, I think, it's very good, especially Medusa.
For new readers this novel is extremely boring the plots are bland the story is obvious the cultivation realm is let just say boring there is no uniqueness about it the only decent thing is the heavenly flame thing and alchemy there is no interesting character except Yao chen
I mean this one is an ok read if you don’t mind the translators constant use of the same words and misuse of certain words…overall I give it three stars
Just finished reading both Dragon Prince Yuan and Battle Through The Heavens Prequel, and I hope this novel is also good as those two. Except that Dragon Prince Yuan at least 1/5 of the novel is just side characters shouting “you can’t do that, your growth is not that fast” and “I’m Yuan, my growth IS that fast”
