Lazy Dungeon Master

this might be the worst thing i ever read. while the story isnt bad, the translation is so sh*t that reading it makes me want to rip my eyes out.

Slow at times but has great moments and losts of creativity. The dungeon battles are some of the best parts of the series as the Mc always finds creative ways to fight even when he started his dungeon way later than everyone else

This has been an entertaining read so far. Not over the top, but creative, if a little arbitrarily so. Every plateau culminates with a new twist or introduction of a character with everything eventually being intertwined. The MC is mostly neutral. A bit selfish (wanting to be lazy) but motivated to take care of those he considers kin. Not particularly caring about rules if he can avoid them, but also doesn't care for chaos where they have no control either.

I found myself disliking the MC more in this story than most of the others I have read in the last few years. What should've been a small and funny gimmick (sleeping) turned into an unfunny shackle that would never go away for the story. Comedic gimmicks should add to the story in small doses but the MC's obsession with sleeping ended up dictating how the plot moved which in turned, caused there to be such little plot that I only kept reading for Meat and Rokuko. Because the MC wanted to do nothing more than sleep at every given moment, there is no real proper motivation or goal because the MC does the bare minimum so he can sleep more. He finds matters relating to his dungeon troublesome so he pushes the responsibility away to side characters, might as well make them the MC since the actual one doesn't care.

The translation is weird and the characters are bland. I could get over that, but the real problem is the plot. I get that its R-15 but some of the writing is just distasteful.

Very entertaining, It is rare to find books where you get too far into the story, express well the actions of each character and the way they make their decisions.
