Summary

Zorian is a teenage mage of humble birth and slightly above-average skill, attending his third year of education at Cyoria’s magical academy.

He is a driven and irritable young man, consumed by a desire to ensure his own future and free himself of the influence of his family, whom he resents for favoring his brothers over him. Consequently, he has no time for pointless distractions or paying attention to other people’s problems.

As it happens, time is something he is about to get plenty of. On the eve of the Cyoria’s annual summer festival, he is killed and brought back to the beginning of the month, just before he was about to take a train to Cyoria.

Suddenly trapped in a time loop with no clear end or exit, Zorian will have to look both within and without to unravel the mystery before him. And he does have to unravel it, for the time loop hadn’t been made for his sake and dangers lurk everywhere…

Repetition is the mother of learning, but Zorian will have to first make sure he survives to try again — in a world of magic, even a time traveler isn’t safe from those who wish him ill.

    It’s a really short spinoff story in a canon event scenario . MC ain’t MC , he’s the side character that progresses and shows he’s worthy of being MC . Ngl almost 50 chapters on loop repetition was ticking me off but the last few chapters really made the ending feel worth . Simple plot , slow and detailed writing , solid 9.5/10.

      Well, I have a big spoiler for you, one that's truly a really heavy spoiler. It's up to you whether you continue reading. And before the spoiler, I want to clarify that the novel is very good and entertaining; this is the second time I'm starting to read it. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- In reality, Zorian isn't the protagonist of the loop and the loop doesn't belong to Zorian, you could say he's now a mistake within the loop.

    I still don't understand how I always end up coming back to this story just because of its narrative and world development, the only thing I regret are all the ideas eliminated by the author that I understand why I eliminate them would have destroyed the narrative that it carried and would turn the story into something else, but above all that the end of the story there was so good that you don't want it to end and you read it again because it is the only one Way to get more

    Some suggestions about other time loop stories -Regression is too much: its a Korean tower novel where the mc will regress if he gets even a slight injury like a cut. Its basically a time loop story cause he regress's hundreds of times per floor 7.5/10 -A regressors tale of cultivation: xianxia cultivation story where this guy and some of his colleagues get transmigrated into a cultivation world. They all have special abilities but he's thinks he has none until he regresses. Hes a talentless actually good mc. 100/10 best cultivation story i've ever read, actual explanations on realm, no popping pills, amazing world building and he regress's over 1k times so i guess its not a true time loop story but it kinda is -A perfect run: modern day time loop story I haven't read it a ton but one of my friends said its very good
