His abilities are vague due to first-person narration (and just being a unreliable narrator) but I'll try my best to answer your questions without any spoilers. He can only read what someone is currently thinking and control the range (a few hundred meters is the maximum range you can get his mind reading to). The upper limitation of how many people he can read and comprehend at the same time is the least clarified, but it's at least in the hundreds. And unless they recall a memory, he can't access their past. The first 24 chapters does not match up with the rest of the novel at all, but once you get through them—the MC's character becomes clearer, the writing improves, and the novel becomes extremely consistent with the quality. Any inconsistencies, like how he fell into prison despite being able to read minds, are clarified later, however they involve spoilers so if you want to know just ask.

Other than the title being a bit similar and a regressor being present in both stories, there is 0 similarities between them. So no it's not related to Kim Dokja.

He has a few abilities so I won't spoil it but early story he has the ability to read the minds of humans.

bro what is this 2 hours before making a reply b*llsh*t. This site has the weirdest rules. Anyway. Yeah, I get that. But I want to know the scope of his ability. Like can he turn it on and off? What is the radius? How many people can he do it at a time? How long does it take for him to scan people's memory(from chapter 3, I gather that he can look through all her life times in seconds but I'm not entirely sure because of sh*t writing)? things like that

Military state arc is absolute peak fiction, probably the best written and the most creative country of all novels. I loved the concept of a "utopic country" without a "king" and the logic is above everything. Also maximilien is the goat

I am Waiting for the moment when the MC reveals his Ace of spade and The Joker from his card collection.

Even I don't remember most of his card functions, maybe mtl has cooked by brain, pretty sure heart contains potions and spade has some magic stored, there's also that blanket and the skewer always works, wires and even the new Geomancy card, I can kinda understand how he uses Geomancy from that card, he has basically stored the magic of the Grandmaster from hundreds of years ago(with her permission?) which is like a unique magic, though to explain more will infringe in spoiler territory, so I'll just say he stored her unique magic and can use it when he touches the card that is made from it. It probably doesn't work for normal unique magic only special one s like Earth mother, Sky God or any unique magic Lvl magic that every humans can practice and use, as Geomancy didn't exist before Grandmaster or Jizan

Amazing Novel, The Characters in the novel also fantastic. The MC he is very different and unique character compared to other MCs in other novels. The tricks and scams he pulls with the 52 deck cards are just awesome. This is a must read for those who want to read something unique.

I am starting to feel unsure of how this novel is progressing. Originally I loved this novel because of how creatively the mc would handle situations with words. While this is true still in the later chapters he fights mainly through his allies which wasn’t why I started liking the novel. The story beats are still enough to keep me hooked though

The stakes have risen he can no longer rely solely on psychological warfare to win fights he needs his allies
