This novel is really quite good and deserves a higher rating. It's only a short read compared to other web novels with thousand plus chapters but it's really quite good and interesting. The story spanning from their childhood up to their adulthood. And I love how it has some similarities to the novel The Dreamer in the Spring Boudoir when it comes to the time placement setting (modern and ancient era).

Translation starts out okay until it goes into a repetitive what-the-heck did they say mess. Rather dragging in some parts. Some plot points are too over the top and confusing at some points. Halfway through this convoluted mess and still deciding if it’s worth the brain power to read through. when one character has sex with the female lead who is drunk, it’s practically date rape being glossed over. What’s more the female lead who was previously a victim of abuse and has since been traumatized seems to be casual about it

This deserve a good rating.Tough the scheming and plotting are long and the romance bet the two are not still fully develop i still enjoyed reading every chapter of this. Im looking forward for more chapters!
