One annoyance this novel has caused me is the subtle sexism of author that has affected his story. He wrote the 1st FL as the most badass, independent, and powerful woman in the series. And then he makes her character be subject to sexist norms. I am talking about her response to the idea of her man having multiple wives. She says sth along the lines of "men naturally take multiple wives and concubine so it is fine." Like, tf? Are you not the character who is strong enough to be feared by the final bosses? Why tf are you listening to biased societal norms? It is a major inconsistency in many stories that write a woman to be strong and forget to actually make her character strong. It may not seem too big of a deal but such nuances are what make characters interesting. And when writers completely ruin it, they also ruin the grade of their story. This single thing made the novel become quite unreadable in my eyes(it is majorly annoying). Thnx for coming to my ted talk.

Ngl your comment is entirely dumb there are lots of cases where string female charecters take multiple cases and same same for the opposite and most of there spouses sometimes end up stringer then them being strong has nothing to did with being married why you might ask. Easy tell us why was this the only thing you listed that apparently makes her weak because she has never shown weakness that's why

First, this story is not set in modern era and this is fantasy genre. Second, their culture is vastly different from ours,. Not similar to anything on earth in. Our current era. Third you are misunderstanding that her character is not strong. She is strong both mentally and physically. And what do you think it is so easy to get strong in this fantasy setting. The casual answer is no. If you have ever tried to do the impossible, set your goal so hard that it take everything you have to achieve. The discipline it requires to achieve something is really hard . Lastly the mentality and psychology is different. Read some scientific articles.

And I am saying, yes she is an amazingly strong character. Tho, ur way of putting it kinda falls apart since she is the most gifted and talented human in the universe. Still, it takes effort to use talent so let's say she did a lot of heavy lifting too. And that is precisely why I dislike her character breaking her own nature. Yea yea she is not my character but the author's and he can write however he wants to. But, his fault for implying one thing and breaking it.

1st, it is not the modern era but it is a fantasy world where might is right. 2nd, culture differences really make no excuse when the character we talkin about is the Heavenly Demon, an archetype that is supposed to break norms and defy heavens. 3rd, I haven't read articles but I know every woman is extremely possessive of her lover.(ask any woman. Mum, gf, sis) There are some outliers that only keep it casual but unless they are conditioned to accept polygamy like in Muslim communities, you wouldn't find a woman willing to be part of a guy's harem. I will gladly read the relevant research if u link it. But till then, my opinion still stands that realistically a character like her should've absolutely resisted her husband taking other wives. Plus, I would be fine if she as a character just didn't care who her man was doing as long as he put her at first or some sh*t like that. But I do mind the lame excuse of "society" that is violating nature number 1 of every woman I know.

You should first look at the story's settings.. if it's a modern kinda of setting we can feel your thoughts about that, but as you can see, she had her entire life that kinda of concept was very normal to her view so we can't help it if the 1st female lead was strong and all but have this mindset that is not right for you.. all in all, I agree with you, I'll just start reading this thing if its still readable for me..
