    Will [Fate] be explained later at the novel? I am currently at chapter 800 ish, but nothing major about fate is said... I don't like how cultivation novels include [Luck] when [Fate] is completely fine. To those who don't understand, [Fate] is a constant. It's absolute. Contrastingly, [Luck] is a variable. Forever changing. Luck and Fate contrast each other. A good novel I saw that mentioned this relationship between Fate and Luck was Reverend Insanity

      Maybe you want something less dark(still dark)but with a more comedic undertone,i recommend Er Gen's A will Eternal.

      It's weird, i mean ita not bad but it feels kinda anticipated it has some twists but its sorta a fan service ending 🤷 i mean the novel was better than the ending totally worth reading though 🤷

        ending is pretty good actually, it gives you a woah moment for 3-4 second and you mostly feel satisfied with it.

    Having read most of Er Gen's novels i can easily tell, Wang Lin is best among them, he had the hardest life and he has the best personality. The only problem with this novel like all Er Gen's novels is romance. Other than that, read it. You are in for one hell of a ride.

      The romance in the donghua looks pretty good thought its pretty wholesome actually(if you forget the fact he left her alone for 100 years after knowing her for only like a few).

        If you like a main character similar to Wang Lin, then i would recommend ''Beyond Timescape'' which is Er Gen's best work so far, but again romance is a bit icky. I also like ''I shall seal the heavens''.
