I think the first few chapters are best to read in free time. I slowly read it until I got to the better part LOL. Honestly, it is not bad as I thought, probably better if you have better mental imagery.

I feel like the comments are being a bit openly biased. To be fair, while the start of the novel is quite cr*p, it does get better in the middle and end, unlike a lot of other novels that have a strong start but a weak end. It’s a relatively simple yet refreshing cultivation novel, as it is simply about a person who wants to do good in the world. It maybe cliche in some bits and it may take some time for you to get to the good parts, but I still believe it will ultimately be worth your time.

He wants to do good in the world? In a cultivation world? Not for me

I read the first two chapters, and I can tell exactly that the author didn't know how to write a novel. He failed to set the tone of the story, failed to introduce the main character, failed to establish the plot, failed to lay the foundation for world-building. The first chapter, which should have been the most captivating, was wasted on setting up a conspiracy involving characters I don't know and don't care about, as the author never gave me a chance to know or bond with them. . At first, I thought it was just a short prologue. I expected the author to circle back and set up the plot after it ended. However, that wasn't the case, he simply ignored all of it. After reached chapter 19 without a single hint of plot, I decided to drop it. . Sometimes it's just so obvious that the author doesn't know how to write. He may or may not have a good story in his head, but without writing skill, it's all useless.

Well, being a rookie doesn't justify doing things without basic knowledge, don't you agree? I don't think it's too excessive to expect a writer to spend a couple of hours learning basic knowledge about writing before starting. Also, I want to point out that my original comment doesn't have an aggressive tone and is already more than a year old. I don't understand what you mean by 'calm down a bit.'

For some reason, in random chapters, there will be missing paragraphs of text making it ruin the flow. Would recommend reading it somewhere else.
