    As I read 49+ chapters , Here is the incomplete biased review :- Bad things: -Missing words in translation but managable. -MC is talented in everything (farming , alchemy ,etc...) probably due to his graduate experience (most of which is bs to me) -MC is workaholic -MC keeps getting pushed around by others -His inner thoughts and actions differ Good things: -I liked magic system very much -interactions between characters -comedy -Open-minded mc I dunno what happens in future chapters but for now it is a light slice of life novel. You can read it for fun. I would have loved it , if MC was actually lazy who tried to do the least work. I like the magic and misunderstandings in this novel

    D*mn, how annoying. I paused my reading after reaching chapter 1000 of MTL, all to wait for the “corrected” translation to get there, and now I get that this novel is no longer being translated. How irritating!

    For everyone here to make fun of the title, the title is part of the joke. It’s supposed to sound ridiculous. The idea is that it’s Harry Potter, but with the brutality and mindset of an Asian university, which makes it a barely survivable hellscape.

      It might not be the best, but it's one of novel I enjoy reading. An op mc but with all the misunderstood the mc find himself in, it just the right balance for op and comedy. I recommend you give it a read. I think the writer still haven't find his rhythm in few chapters 10 or so.

        honestly i think this just isnt for me, i dropped it after the 2nd chapter since i already had a couple issues with the first chapter alone lol. I think i'll try again after i finish reading what i just picked up, thanks!

        im reading kill the sun, its interesting but the main character is pretty annoying.. (i heard he gets better) its unfinished and im only at 280 but its honestly a quick read and its better than nothing. if ur desperate i'd say give it a try if you haven't already

        huge spoilers all he does is drown in self pity, he killed this kid like 80 chapters in and by chapter 300 he kills thousands of people on accident, and hes STILL more upset about that godamn kid. he kills his only friend, and joins up with a specter (the main enemies) and then all of a sudden he just acts like he has no emotions.. he was supposed to get better he just kept getting worse. power systems actually really cool but its just a wasted novel after all that.. every single comment after chap 300 is just ppl hating 😭

        that just sounds like a repeat of the author's other novel... i'm honestly starting to think that author is copy pasting the same tragic story with slight changes to the story. the summary you described is quite literally like Sword God in a World of Magic, which was author's previous book if you are having trouble finding good things to read try reading some of these: Deep Sea Embers Omniscient First Person's Viewpoint Mistaken as a Monstrous Genius Actor Unscientific Beast Taming The Legendary Mechanic Black Tech Internet Cafe Return of the Frozen Player Shadow Slave they are all from different types of genre and are all pretty good reads

        Yeah I've heard that the author really likes to make tragic MCs, and most of the time I'm down with that.. give the Mc some trauma sure, but d*mn it just never stops ??? thank you for the recommendations as well! I've read a couple but some of these I haven't heard of so thank you!
