3 stories in one. I enjoyed reading it, but sometimes the translation and the rare mixed/incomplete chapters (mostly at the begining) get in the way of it. I hesitated between 3* and 4* , but I ultimately gave 4 stars, because it's a novel action packed and also comedy. It seem that clichés couldn't be avoided, and are some repetitive things, but try it out first.

This reading is 3 books in 1 that can practically be read independently. The first book is practically what you can read in the summary of the main page that lasts until chapter 500 or so. The genres of this book are Romance, Imperial Harem, Revenge and to a lesser extent cultivation. This first book is pretty good although I noticed a bit of a rush to conclude it. Then there is a short interlude before starting the second book but both share the new literary genres which basically would be Romance, Spiritism, Mystery and Criminal Investigation. Honestly, the second book can be considered a compendium of Chinese scooby-doo chapters. In this book at this point, although it is interesting for me, it loses a lot compared to the first book and some decisions and events are. . . idiotic decisions on the part of the protagonists. Finally, the third book around chapter 1130, I lost interest in the story completely. . . It literally has different protagonists and I'm not going to make a spoiler. Lastly, the story contains explicit s*x scenes and I strongly recommend that you check the story tags before reading to avoid any unpleasant surprises. In summary, I loved the characters and the plot of the first and second book as well with a pretty solid lore of the world with my only complaint being that it fails to give a good conclusion to the plots.

Both fl & ml are op. No harem. Overall, it’s mu cup of tea [ ‼️SPOILER ALERT ‼️] except for the part when ml & fl got separated for a long time, I just don’t like it whenever both leads are separated

I found an easy novel to read, I devoured the chapters, plus the story was deeper with unconditional love, I loved each chapter, thanks to the translator. I love the male character who is so overbearing and only loves the female lead.

I'm not really a fan. I feel like the ML is slightly too dark for me and the FL became more stupid as time went on. However, I did enjoy that this wasn't your typically story. It is very interesting.

I love this story I've read it multiple times the only thing is I really want the author to do a spin off story about young master tang and his girl

I concur on the mediocrity of this story. The FL is a transmigrated mercenary queen but does not act like one because the author needs to create a spark between the FL and ML through cliche encounters. The face slapping scenes are somewhat ok but not overly satisfying.

Don’t waste your time this story is mediocre and quite boring starting from chapter 500. There are so many side character and filler hmm. Less about cultivation and FL is just so so

Ive been rereading this story a lot of times that i cant count it anymoree,i super love his possessiveness,and her understanding and their deep love for each other!

They don't really separate for a long time, in terms of chapters it will be about 20-30 chapters (basically a small story arc) and in terms of time they only make a 3 year time jump. (they meet again around chapter 900) I'm like you, I don't like it when two main characters are separated for a long time.
