The Legendary Moonlight Sculptor

It's a pretty readable story at first up till vol 13. While the author isn't reliable at keeping numerical details like levels, stats, sculpture counts consistent, the plot itself is interesting. Kinda same vibes with Rebirth of the thief minus the rebirth part. It's also a nice touch that characters are well-fleshed and MC is not the only guy who got a love life in this story. Vol 14 onwards is where it all got pretty annoying. To further the plot, author frequently forced situations by making MC break out of character(i. e. suddenly being generous and offering to give stuff to people, or suddenly letting himself be pressured to do stuff he doesn't wanna do, etc. ) or thru plot armor. But, the thing that takes the cake for my low rating is how the author kept pushing the Geomchis to interfere with MC's life inconsiderately and painting it as if it's a good thing for MC when MC's situation and values are way too different than them since MC is poor and needs to earn a living for his family while the Geomchis don't share the same concern(at least in the case of the top instructors especially that stupid POS Master).

The novel is very good and entertaining, it has some weak moments and a rather rushed ending, even the development of the MC is quite slow. From the beginning it keeps you entertained and it is very comical how everything develops. There are no power ups, and I feel like they could have developed that ending more, but it was still very rewarding. I read the first 40 volumes more than once, since it had not yet finished at the time, and only now, years later, does it ask to see the end. The novel is not that long, a sequel would be interesting, the continuation of the game, a new beginning.

I like it. It's a good action novel and an excellent read to pass the time. I read it ages ago when I first started reading web novels and now that I read it again, I still enjoy the book as much as the first time.

Superb story with great characters. The character development is kinda slow but its fine. The main issue is the translation but beggars can't be chosers so its also ok.

I honestly wish every novel I read was like this, fell in love while not even realizing it, by the time it ended I wanted more. Honestly, if this was food, I would be a fat person cause im eating this up every time I get to see it.

Definitely one the very first web novels I've read. The translation is one of the best I've seen to start off with. Even with the long chapters, nothing is missed and it flows really nice. The characters are great. Even the villains have depth and flavor to them that makes you want to see more of them. The MC has his flaws, but he's not brain dead. Stubborn and a bit self deprecating. He's interesting. The plot is very well fleshed out and they build up suspense and anticipation. It didn't feel rushed or unplanned at all during the novel. The only real con I have is that the last couple of chapters felt more like fan service then an actual ending. 4. 5/5

It's not bad, It's interesting . . The characters are nice, The story is cool and the MC is funny and interesting BUT: The Main Story is both in game and in real world, Obviously more stuff happens in the game, Like much more it's basically focused on the game, So the story is just too soft for me, no matter what happens it's just a game after all . . So it's kinda lacking emotions . . But it's not entirely bad, It's still humorous and interesting to read I'd say Overlord and Sword God in a world of magic 5 stars Regressed Demon Lord is kind 4 stars This 3 stars

contrary to popular belief, if you really read the novel and not just skim past it, you will know that he is NOT a Suddenly OP MC. He conditioned his mind and body for one whole year before entering the game. His grinding is just in another level compared to every other players, or MCs out there, that's why he got so strong. And, honestly, you will see a LOT of grinding when you read this novel.

god i loved this novel, Weed had a set a principles you can respect and isn’t a hero but more in the grey area, with everything was good with nothing particularly lacking

I started this with low expectations after being disappointed with another MMORPG type story, Kings Avatar. However this is head and shoulders above the other. Weed is more of an anti-hero than a hero, and that made it more enjoyable for me. The character development was interesting but also hilariously funny. Although I would have liked more of the story to cover life outside the game, it was still an engaging tale. The romance was sweet, though there was not enough of it, the bromance was probably more fleshed out. I really enjoyed it and recommend it.
