The Primal Hunter

IMO, the story and writing takes a nose dive after the first arc. It devolves into what I can only describe as the the type of writing you see when a westerner writes a webnovel. It's not inherintly bad perse but you'll understand if you've read enough of these novels. If you enjoy the likes of grand ancestral bloodlines or supreme magus, this may be a novel for you. Otherwise, just skip this one.

I loved the novel. God and his chosen relationship was beautiful. I also like the power-ups in which the main character is torpedoed. There are no cliché romantic writings eitherThere are no cliché romantic writings either.

I was re-reading past chapters and I think I discovered a small plot hole. I was scrolling through the comments and didn't see anything about it so I thought I would just say it. In chapter 625 Jake and Villy act as if they never talked about the Nevermore Leaderboards but in chapter 555, when he's talking some sense into the metal mage, Jake mentions that he asked Villy if he should go to Nevermore, mentioning the Leaderboards in that paragraph. It doesn't really affect the story but I just thought I should mention it.

Mc is cring. Bro literally has some pyscopathic issues. I have read 100 chapters and I would give it 10/4. I don't know if mc changes in future. Only read it if you have nothing else. Hmm. . guys I think u all should give a try to Primordial record that novel is way better than other trashies on this site. Solid 10/9

Main character shines the most when he is solo fighting, side povs are a big part of the story, everything is great but the fights and other things like alchemy are tedious at times

This novel isn't very complex or anything but boy is it entertaining. If you like a strong MC (both in character and strength) you will enjoy this novel.

This novel has an expansive setting that brings out a sense of awe due to the sheer size of it as well as the giant power ceiling that exists within this story. Jake brings out a unique humor to the story while introducing the reader to a relatively original concept of growth(Jake Juice. )

A little slow to start but definitely waited for each chapter every day. Relationship with Villy is really interesting, hope we get to see who the real bbeg after they're done with Yip

Although I don't want to make up my mind before I read all the rest of the chapters, I will give an assessment. I think this novel is very good in how it writes the battles, how it introduces the professions, its detailed use of statistics and skills. How the characters are written and how they react is not strange and feels natural. As for the parts I didn't like, while reading the book, sometimes you realize that some of the texts are unnecessarily long and repetitive, and it disrupts the reading and the flow of the book. My least favorite part of the book is that the MC's ability to react using his mind in complex situations is quite low and in general the MC is not aware of why he is doing what he is doing. When faced with an action other than fighting, challenging and killing, as he calls it, he focuses on other things to avoid thinking about it or runs away forgetting about it. In some cases they can be extremely prejudiced and instead of correcting this, they stubbornly argue back. In short, the MC's personality can sometimes be annoying. I think this might change as character development in later episodes, but I'm not sure.

a great Novell, I like it wery much. The Story is to my liking and easy to Understand. the MC is Cool and Humorous. Very easy to read and Enjoyable.
