Transmigrator Meets Reincarnator (WN)

Good read. I do think that the ending portion was a bit rushed off. The story build up was good from the start to the middle. I like that the Male MC is a bit ridiculously jealous type but nevertheless he has a good overall character. The female MC a bit silly at time but it was acceptable as unfortunately logically speaking, she keeps putting herself in danger a number of times, which could have been avoided. It's strange that the Xiao Bojian the evil one never explained why he was so crazy over the female lead.

Finished reading this a few days ago. It's not something super rare or a masterpiece but if you need some josei in your life to pass the time while not reading some absolute b*llsh*t. This is it. It's way better than your average josei but at the end of the day, it is josei. You get what you're looking for. Mc is not retarded and neither is the ML so that's a merit haha. Other characters are also not that retarded or flat.

Can be frustrating at times with how some character's have borderline personality disorder and behave randomly. (Matriarch HE) otherwise I would say its better written then most novels on the website and the Author+ translator are both very endearing. The translator did well and often added little comments that were very bubbly and really enhanced the read. Overall pretty lighthearted could probably have used another 100 chapters before the end for more slice of life. Main characters also fairly endearing so if you enjoy slice of life youll love it.

The main couple went from enemies to lovers too suddenly. Obviously the author wanted it to be a slow burn, but couldn't get it right. Using a numeric scale 1-100, going from absolute hatred to in love, the first 200 chapters were around 1. The male lead literally wants to kill the female lead and only stopped because it was too early. Next 100 chapters were 10-20. Then, because the author couldn't figure out a way to make the transition gradually, at around chapter 300, the male lead suddenly does a 180 and becomes madly in love. The ploys were a bit shallow and resolved too quickly. One character's personality completely changes and it was blamed on old age; I think that was ridiculous. The author didn't know how to end the novel either, because the ending completely fell flat. This isn't a bad story, but it's extremely average. Maybe the most average one I've read so far.

The beginning is great although the misunderstanding is a bit too cartoonish. The way ML's ice cold heart slowly melted and conquered by FL was nice and kinda funny to read. But then, when they actually got together, the writing took a nosedive. Obvious plot contrivances, idiotic and over-the-top drama, and some of the actually nice characters around FL suddenly became retarded just for the sake of face slapping. The ending was rushed as hell too. Many stuff that were built up and highly anticipated ends up just mentioned in passing at the very last chapter. 🤦‍♂️ It severely needs a few extra "epilogue" chapters. But hey, at least when the romance actually works, it's fluffy and quite h*rny lmao.

For the first chapter to 290 plus i feel so annoyed, anxious and nervous because of this misunderstanding and the so carefree FL Chu Lian😤😤 still, im impressed of her carefree manners that even that Xiao what's his name again? Still, overall the misunderstanding arc is now put behind in my head and was nourish and flourishing with the new chapters ahead till the ending. Im just a little disappointed since they didn't include Xiaoyan, the loyal-food Fan of Cu Lian at least it a side story in her!! And, the story between General Sima and Prince Jin let me see at least a little bit thier engagement party😭😭😭 and, im also interested with the barbarian brothers. . im intrigued about thier ahem. . still so far, dont forget the foods my ghad, every chapter i will take note those food recipes🤭🤭👌🏼 hehehehe, , i will rate this 4/5.

This novel had been one of the few good Chinese ones out there. The first arcs where there was a lot of misunderstandings was a little bit irritating but it was easy to get over it with the occasional sarcasm. The ending could have been better with a longer epilogue or at least a few side stories. But all in all, it was a good read.

for the first 280 chaps, it was really "getting on my nerves" episodes, always misunderstanding between FL & ML, even i attempted to drop this novel. Yet, i wait patiently, and it turned out worth waiting. the slow burnt romance start to ripe in 300 smthn chaps. i say, should give a chance for the plots and romance to perfectly bloom
