This novel is far from perfect, but it's actually quite good for what it is. I wouldn't call it high-quality writing, but it's very interesting to see how things develop throughout the story, in a non-intuitive way. It's rife with cliches, yes, but they are tackled from a perspective I've only seen in a handful of novels, and those ones were in my top 10. This one's writing quality falls far short of that, but still has the makings of something unique. 6.75/10
7.5 or 8/10 novel is surprisingly good for it so have such a trash name, but tbh the naming sense throughout the entire story is quite trash, so i don't mind it too much. The story was good, very fast for some reason (as in pacing) but it was very good nonetheless. Character?? The mc ,although very naive at the beginning of the story and with VERY weird character progresión it was really interesting to see from moment one, the supporting cast?? Actually really good, enemies although a bit one dimensional are decent and the ally's were really nice, the friends were more or less easy to identify just based on the interactions so that's nice. Story in and of itself?? A bit lackluster but nothing too bad, just generic no big reveal or anything like that. Inconsistencies?? A d*mn lot, o god there were a lot, the translation work was good, considering other works i mean, but there were problems with some weapon descriptions not being there, all in all pretty inconsistent, but can be forgiven
It's baffling how there are so many negative comments from people who didn't even give this novel a chance, like just fight scenes places this novel top 20 at least not to mentionhow interesting it is to see him research the technique with no unexplained and overly convenient status screen, also complaining about harem in a novel where the mc is interested in woman only from start to finish is plain stupid
It's a ridiculous story. Not worth reading. I read until the 45th chapter and I still haven't seen a decent main character. Waste of time.
I think this is one of the novel that stay true to it name. Mc alway upgrade or craft his equipment to get stronger along with higher cultivation. Not like some 4-5 star Novel that have name like talisman emperor or super pet etc( not a real novel name) that mention thing in their name once every 300 chapter. How did they justified using talisman emperor name but never use it in a fight? Ps: this novel is starting slow and it getting better. If you stumble upon this novel give it a chance and read till him reach his sect. Because all 1 star reviews I saw. They don't even read past chasing phase.

Hmmm. I'm very surprised this is rated badly. This novel is more "light" than dark. I enjoyed reading this very much, as much as I enjoyed reading WDQK, Martial World, ISSTH, Sov of 3 Realms, ect. I didn't like mindless fool MCs like PMG and ATG. Ugh. This is very different, miles better. Ranking up there with the "greats", in my opinion.
