Can someone tell me if this series is worth it? Im on Tower level 35 and I find the writting and plot points to be a bit more childish than I'm used to. I'm about 40 percent through the series. Dont' get me wrong, this series can have good sections, but sometimes i find it hard to stay focused and enjoy the whole thing. At times i feel like im skimming.. So is the series worth it? I know it's highly rated and ranked well.. (no spoilers please)

Came from the manhwa and finishing reading this novel. Yes i agree there’s a few confusing arcs but trust me and read through it. It will make so much sense later on. Character building of the mc and ALSO the people around him is a 💯. A lot of peak and heartwarming moments. If you like good plots, give this a try :)

So I got about halfway through the book and ended up dropping it. I'll leave a few comments for others that are considering it. 1. The author is clearly talented, I dropped bc I didn't enjoy his choices, but his ability to write is clear 2. The translation is excellent. 3. The beginning of the book is strong, I would say up to the romance arc is the golden part of this book 4. The romance was the most unbelievable romance I've ever read. Truly unbelievable. MC simps hard for her. But they are loyal and cringe in love so 🤷 5. Where I truly got frustrated and ended up dropping was the constant flashbacks and sidestories that started taking over the book. The author also started spending alot of time on useless and unlikable characters. While in the beginning I couldn't put the book down, once these bad arcs and characters started popping up I read slower and slower and stopped enjoying it completely. 6. If you don't mind powering through a few bad arcs and characters you may enjoy GL

Is the novel as good as the manhua. I love the murim arc and the highschool arc in the manhua. Especially the SE vs HD fight and the regression rule change. Chefs kiss.

That arc starts with Easter egg chapter 205. The actual memories start a few chapters later.

I hate regresion novels, they are so easily turned into just another wish fullfilling powerfantasy with self insert op badass gigachad mc that slaps every bad guy and bags all the b*tch*s. So, my mate told me about this as an example of a good regression novel. We'll see how this goes.

Well he only has one love and he doesn’t just go round beating up everyone

He lied to you "You Are Your Own Worst Enemy" This could be the title of the novel. Although I’ve only read a dozen chapters, from the moment it begins, the protagonist has [XS Luck], and it seems almost impossible there’s an obstacle he can’t overcome. With an IQ of 90 and basic common sense, his rise to becoming the strongest seems more than assured. The problem, of course, is that his IQ doesn’t even reach that, and common sense disappears right when he needs it the most.

Bro keep reading. A dozen chapters is way too early to assume things

So, does it improve? Is there anyone who could pose even the slightest obstacle if he uses his abilities properly? Do the problems he faces in the future arise from his own mistakes or as a result of other characters' actions?

He takes a vow against suicide. There are those with certain authorities that combat his regression. Spoiler... ... ... ... There is a regressor killing sword along with constilations of time that combat him.

lol don’t be disappointed to quickly. Even though he rarely loses, the novel is quite heartfelt, especially at the first half. He doesn’t just randomly go round beating everyone senseless. The quality does drop a bit in the latter half
