Super well, a fantastic read, some parts at the end were a bit rushed but I loved almost all of it. I love that the MC suffers to get stronger, like the skill is a bit of a cheat but he has to work for almost everything.

Personally, it was extremely good. I liked everything the story threw at me. The only sad part was that there are no side stories, otherthan that, love it.

The translation is excellentand the author seems very capable, however he took the book in an unfortunate direction. I read around 230 chapters or so, but eventually had to stop. The book is heavy on flashbacks and sidestories that interrupt the main story. The focus is constantly shifted from what's good about the book to characters or flashbacks or side plots that are garbage. I just couldn't take it anymore and dropped it.

One of the best regressor stories I have ever read in my life. It covers so many different genres yet it stays true to the core. The author put an insane amount of hardwork into this masterpiece of a novel. The MC has very good character development. The comedy between him and the sword emperor is so perfect. The way he used his brain to fight against his opponents. How he cleared the trials of the tower. How he used his abilities to the fullest to cut to the top of the tower. Everyone might remember him to be an all knowing God but only the readers of this novel( and Raviel) will truly know the suffering and the amount of hardwork he had to put in. honestly every arc was amazing and perfect till the very last detail. Also it had one of the best endings in my opinion. This novel will always have a place in my heart as an SSS god tier novel. I recommend everyone to try it out.

This is a really overrated novel. Don't know how this got so high in the rankings but there are many other good novels out there than this. Off course it wasn't bad right from the start, it had good potential. But the storyline just went bad from that empire girl arc. Those who are saying this is top novel probably haven't read any true good novel.

I absolutely love this! I started reading just a few days ago and I'm already halfway through, but I'm trying (and failing) to pace myself since I've been mostly reading the manga and don’t want to spoil too much—though I might already be way too far ahead, aghh. I'm gonna have to let the manga marinate while doing my best to stop reading the novel. That said, I adore this story so much. The storytelling is so well-crafted; everything flows effortlessly, and I can picture every scene so clearly in my head. I’ve laughed, cried—both from joy and sorrow—and experienced all the heartwarming moments and intense, painful ones. It's just been such an amazing ride. This is definitely an SSS-tier story! 😂

I read 324 / 405 chapters, I'm now unable to force me to read any further. Off to an amazing start I was very hyped, but in my opinion, the quality of the plot keeps degrading as well as characters start to become worse and worse written. Especially the love arc feels so cringy and far fetched. Since it started well, I settle for an average score, but if I had to judge the second half it would be 1 star.

Yes, exactly. I could only manage around 230 chapters. It started off strong but really went off the rails with the side stories and flashbacks and garbage characters who didn't need to matter, but get pushed into the story for no reason.

True. I think quality just starts dropping after the tower master trauma. Either it’s because the author is pushing too many ideas into one spot or he’s just straight up done with writing the novel

Best novel I have ever read. Even above orv. The end was simply phenomenal, the parallel between the mc and sword emperor is comparable to meruem and gon. What I loved most was all the different genres in this story, AND HOW WELL THEY ARE! Especially the murim anc romance. I can see some criticism about inconsistencies but the climax of this will outweigh that for me

The story is quite good. The promise might be a bit cliché, but the execution is proper with an interesting twist, and nicely done. It will capture you from the first chapters unlike some other long novels. Main and side characters have distinct personalities and qualities of a real person instead of becoming a troupe. On the other hand, the story progression is kind of shaky, sometimes flows smoothly and with enough detail, but sometimes unnecessarily long side stories might bore you. From the middle of the novel to end though somethings change. I'm not sure of the cause of it but, you can feel the rush to finish. Despite keeping the writing quilt as is, author seems to be trying to build a house without laying a foundation. Early on everything has a proper introduction, fleshed out main ideas, and a concise conclusion, but later it only reads as a summary. At one point the genre shifts to comedy to remedy that problem. Advanced floors take less than a minute (many times it gets skipped in bundles together) even though tutorial floors took years, every side character is left behind despite the promise of the story that 65 climbing alone was not the way to go. Don't get me wrong, it's still enjoyable. It just feels different, and less captivating than the early part. Another thing is, the gimmick of the main character (that being he needs to die to get stronger or change events) gradually gets forgotten, and main character becomes another super strong, I always have a plan stereotype. Overall I still recommend this as a good read. I would give it a 3.7/5. [2/2]

literal peak. best novel. nothing else i can or need to say. Amazing character development, peak character development. Realistic and perfect characters, even the villains were so realistic and good. Must read. A story of life. A story of death. A story of loneliness. A story of responsibility.
I’m surprised people hate the empire plot. Personally I thought it went down after the TM trauma
Exactly, it started off well, but absolutely loses the plot.
