Aihara Runa was a person who had been living in hell of misfortune. What's up with these Tags? Tentacles , Racism,etc...
This is one of my favorite novels to read in free time but I am anxious. I read a lot of this kind of novels and the moment author loses his drive it will just stop. There are a lot of interesting World building and character building. There are a lot of arcs ranging from just to fill the lack of ideas to very good ones. And also there is a whole mystery about who Emi really is, what exactly Extra knows, what's up with cursed children or just cursed people, what ar gods up to. This is great but it's progressing quite slowly even 600 chapters in. That doesn't mean it isn't good, true that some might don't like the style but its preference issue. It's just that I fear that it might not get finished. Any thoughts?
Overall i like it, but sometime the side characters story is too much and long.

This Novel is really good. Im at ch 610 and I am going to let it cook for awhile since they are starting a new arc, and each arc is usually around 30-40 chapters. The Mc makes human connections through arcs, but quickly leaves them due to complications. At first it was really frustrating, but the villains always get what coming to them, in the end. Usually it wasn't as satisfying. But this one arc where she made a friend but then was forced to leave by an apostle because he didn't like her. Got his just deserts by having everything that gave him purpose and made up his being ripped away from him by the one he believed in the most. It was quite satisfying. However Emi never gets to see this so its just for our viewers satisfaction. She starts off quite weak in the beginning but gets stronger quite quickly. To the point of where I am at in the story, she insta killed an Emperor dragon right after she woke up, just cause she was hungry. It was pretty epic.
I always have high expectations for a novel in which the comment section is divided. And I loved it. So this is a tragedy, to say the least. The author makes an amazing job at conveying Emi's feelings, her rage, sadness and everything around her. Not the most character development, but as someone who is interested in the psyche, seeing her circumstances, I don't find any reason as to why she wouldn't act that way. The trope is good, the pace is kinda slow, sadly some parts are dragged on, but each arc is interesting. Out of the past 7 arcs (again, I'm around chapter 100), 5 are amazing - history wise, 1 almost made me brake my screen, and the current one is pretty solid. My only complain is the world building, which to be honest is kinda non-existent, we only know black hair and black eyes is despised, but there's a cool theory I saw in the comments as to why that's the case. And yes it's annoying.
This is the first novel on this site that I've read to 100%, and it's probably my favorite on here. I love this story a lot, it's just an enjoyable read. I would recommend this novel. I do have a few critiques, like the quite insane usage of the term "jet-black", and the fact that the main character does nothing against the discrimination she receives. However, I still think it is an amazing novel, and deserving of everyone's read.
Does the author actually explain why everyone hates black haired children bc the discrimination needs a backstory and will the MC learn how to defend herself instead of just taking it silently. She is no *d**t so why does she let people treat her that way when she is strong
